SENIOR & INDIVIDUAL
What should I avoid?
Sunglasses or glasses with Photochromic Lenses
Maxi Watches and Necklace
Neon colors at all costs
Short with pockets on sides
High heels (if shooting in a location with grass)
Anything with logos, graphics, labels, etc... (unless we are going for urban look like downtown or a fun photoshoot)
Everyone wearing the same color and patterns
When you have a family session avoid dressing everyone with lots of different clothing print, instead choose at least two different prints and dress the other members with basic color clothing to give a harmonic look.
Coordinate but don't match.
What should I wear?
Textures, texture, textures: You can add it by adding a kimono or cardigan to the look, a hat, etc...
Flowy maxi dresses and Skirts can add a beautiful movement to your pictures, specially if you are expecting and if you have kids they also love to play with it and we can capture some beautiful candid moments.
Don't be afraid to accessorize with:
Fedora/ Floppy Hats
High knee sockS
Glasses can be a challenge in photographs often causing unwanted glaring and blocking important details of your eyes. If your comfortable I may ask you to remove your glasses for some shots.
Sunburns and spray tans. In the week leading up to your session be cognizant of your sun exposure. Fixing sun burns and harsh tan lines take extensive editing and require an extra retouching fee.
Please be sure that your nails are manicured, nothing fancy though just because your hands will make their way into the photos.
Wear your makeup 30% darker than what you would normally wear. It will help add depth and contouring.

05. The week of your session
If you’re including a pet, give them a bath!
Apply chap stick all week long. Chapped lips are impossible to photoshop – so this goes for you too guys!!
TWO DAYS BEFORE YOUR SESSION
All outfits should be picked out
All clothing ironed or steamed and put onto hangers
Undergarments for each outfit cleaned and packed in your bag
Accessories and shoes for each outfit packed in your bag
Nail appointment completed or happening soon (avoid acrylics, neon colors or chipped polish!)
Guys, if you’re going to shave, do it at least a couple nights before your session to give time for any redness to go away.
06. Time and last minute issues
This is probably the MOST important steps to follow.
Arrive at least 10 minutes earlier to give yourself plenty of time for last minutes issues that may arise specially if you don't know the location or area where your session is taking place.
The client that is late arriving to the session will have the amount of time late deducted from the time allotted for the session (as stated in the contract). If the client doesn't make in time for the session the payment won't be refunded and the session won't be rescheduled.
