MINI SESSION
PREP GUIDE
01. Appearance
MAKEUP
Wear your makeup 30% darker than what you would normally wear. It will help add depth and contouring.
Tanning
I recommend you to tan at least 5 days before your session. Sunburns and spray tans in the week leading up to your session are cognizant of your sun exposure. Also keep in mind that sometimes (specially if you are self tanning), a wrong product can end up making you orange, yellow or give you discoloration and streaks.
Fixing sun burns and harsh tan lines take extensive editing and require an extra retouching fee.
Nails
Please be sure that your nails are manicured, nothing fancy though just because your hands will make their way into the photos.

Important Notes for Those Using the Client Closet
- Arrive Early: If you’ll be wearing outfits from the client closet, please arrive 15 minutes before your session to allow time to change and get settled.
- Entering the Studio: When you arrive, please go ahead and enter the studio. I may still be working in the greenhouse with another client, but you are welcome to come in and start getting ready.
- Your Outfits: Your chosen pieces will be on a clothing rack with your name tag attached, ready for you to change into.
- Changing Children: Please bring your children dressed in easy-to-change clothing so you can quickly switch them into their session outfits.
- Keep your personal items and clothing neatly organized to help the space flow smoothly between clients.
- Before Your Turn: Once you’re ready, you’re welcome to relax and wait until I call you for your session.
- First Come, First Serve: Outfits are available on a first come, first serve basis. If two clients request the same outfit, it will go to the first person who reserves it.
- Styling Assistance: Due to the short nature of these sessions, in-person styling consultations won’t be available. However, online styling guidance is still offered so if you have any questions about what to wear, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
05. Little Ones
If you would like to help make your child laugh, please stand directly behind me and not off to the side.
Avoid colorful drinks or lollipops anything that will stain their cheeks, mouths or teeth within 24 hours of your shoot.
I encourage you to NOT ‘’force’’ your kids to smile, pose or sit still for the session. Forcing them to do something they don’t want to will only make them upset and the session might end because your little one will end up crying the rest of the session.
Make sure your kids are well rested and fed at least 1 hour before the session, a well kid is a happy kid.
Please avoid letting your kid take a nap while driving to the session. Most kids need 15-30 minutes to completely wake up from their nap and sometimes they can be a bit fussy about it.
06. Arrival and last minute issues
Once you arrive please wait in the car or outside the studio as I will only be able to work with one family at a time.
This is probably the MOST important step to follow.
Arrive at least 5-10 minutes earlier to give yourself plenty of time for last minute issues that may arise especially if you don't know the location or area where your session is taking place.
The client that is late arriving to the session will have the amount of time late deducted from the time allotted for the session. If the client doesn't make it in time for the session the payment won't be refunded and the session won't be rescheduled.
If you have small children, accidents sometimes might occur such as spilled milk or dirty diapers that go over their clothes, so make sure you bring an extra outfit change in your car in case something like this happens.
